Our Church Building is one of the little-known architectural gems in the City of Joondalup. It was built in the late 1980s as a contemporary but respectful church building, yet it still looks like what the community expects an Australian church to be. It fits in well with the surrounding suburb.
Inside the church building you will find our beautiful yet understated worship area set out for contemporary Christian worship based on ancient Christian beginnings. The worship area seats up to 140 people.
The Anglican church did not pay for this building. Our local congregation took out a mortgage to pay for it.

This is one of the last church buildings to have wooden pews installed in the worship area. This may seem like a throwback to an earlier time but they are extremely useful. Anyone who is a bit unsteady on their feet will appreciate being able to hold the pew in front to stand up or sit down in safety. Individual chairs are simply not heavy enough for this. Most of the time people are unaware of the usefulness of this feature.
Also, our pews have been turned to face each other across the aisle. This creates more space in the middle of the worship area for people to see and be part of what is happening.
We have a variety of technological innovations to help us, most of the time they integrate seamlessly into our worship experience. Did you notice the large display screens in the worship area? We can easily display words, pictures and videos in the worship area.
Outside, we have a memorial rose garden. Sometimes we need to sit and to remember the ones we love. Talk to Reverend Josie about scattering ashes here. This is a special place.
Our hall is for hire. It is small and intimate able to seat up to 50 people. Our fees are small too. This may be the right size for your next function or community meeting. We have had many events here including birthday parties and social groups of various kinds. It even has a servery and a kitchen attached.
We also have a meeting room for hire. This room seats up to 25 people and may be the right size for your next meeting.
